The rowan's stem is often partially smooth like skin, which made my imagination soar. A "what if" began to form and it felt natural to shape the rowan into a woman, or perhaps give it a woman's embrace.

Technique: an original drawing made with colored chalk on 220 grams art paper with a mild texture. Sold as a loose sheet.
