The skull is the very symbol of death and impermanence, but when I found this skull in the woods it was partially covered with moss and microorganisms and it got me thinking. What at first glance looked dead may in fact be covered with life, even if it is in a new way. In this drawing, something lives inside and off the skull even though it is still a skull. We might be facing Schrödinger's octopus.
Size: 30x40cm
Technique: original drawing made with coloured chalk on 220 grams art paper with a mild texture. Sold as a loose sheet.

Melancholy, hopes and a smell of earth
Höstens mörker sänker sig men min målmedvetenhet ökar för varje dag, konsten är det ljus som jag håller framför mig.
